This song always makes me think of the scene on the highway.
If you don’t know what movie I mean, and your name is not Heather, kindly gtfo my blog. :-)
That awkward moment when you see someone with a piercing arrangement you thought would be super unique. -__- Just goes to show that there’s nothing new under the sun.
I’m considering a philtrum, wondered how it would look with a mustache, and I’m definitely getting a 2nd in the same nostril. These look real good on him.

Put a shirt on, ya homeless or somethin’? ;)
If I was homeless, wouldn’t I have on like…7 shirts? :-p
Hey! How the hell are you? We should have a hot beverage sometime soon. We can discuss writing and the poor clothing choices of those around us. :-)
Help me out, would ya? I’m trying to decide which of these to submit to FuckYeahStretchedEars. They are numbered in the caption, to click on the one you suggest and tell me the number. Please?
???

What does this have to do with me riding a motorcycle? Or…was that the whole point?
I’ve shared this bookcase before. It sits immediately to my right next to my computer. The last time I posted it, I showed the top shelf of books. This time, I’m highlighting the shelf above the books where I keep some seemingly random items. These items, however, tell you so much about me it’s rather startling.
- The Vistaprint box of business cards. This was easily the smartest move I made last year relative to my own community building. Cooking Is A Language is live but still in a formative stage. TreoBenny.com just celebrated 5 years online at the end of last month. Revolutions Per Design will be the portal for my freelance design. The site isn’t live yet, but I had cards printed once I got the logo done. I carry a few of each card in my wallet at all times. These sites represent the bulk of my online life and future.
- Travel coffee mug. Pretty self-explanatory. I love coffee
- The leather cup with the Dockers paper in it contained handkerchiefs. I received them for Christmas a couple years ago. Why is that so key to who I am? I have allergies in the non-winter months and I cannot use disposable tissue. The lint irritates my nose and just makes things worse. I discovered this a few years ago and used old face rags and bandanas for a while. If you interact with me from roughly April through November, you’ll notice that I carry a handkerchief. I like the idea of being sorta old-school in that way. Distinguished if you will.
- A box of Q-tips. A rather big one. I am absolutely addicted to the ear-gasm. You wouldn’t know it unless you spent several nights at a time or lived with me, but I am seldom without them.
- NASCAR: The Complete History coffee table book. I love racing. NASCAR is the easiest form of motorsports racing to follow in the States, and I rather enjoy the tedium and minutia of oval racing. To know me is to know I love racing.
- Nude Photography: The Art and the Craft coffee table book. I love nude photography. I’m a voyeur, a big one. I’m also a hobbyist photographer. Not long after you notice my handkerchief and coffee, and hear me make a reference to racing, you’ll learn that I have a particular interest in nude photography. You may even learn this tidbit first, if you see the wallpaper on my phone before any of the other things. ;-)
- The Complete Cartoons of The New Yorker coffee table book. My love for certain classic icons wouldn’t be very apparent when you first meet me. But, over time you’ll see I have great respect for legacy and iconic brands. I’m also very fond of art in all forms.
