I got lots of compliments on this outfit at work today. Most people directed their comment to the tie, but I think what really caused them to comment was the jacket. I’ve had it since summer but today was my first time wearing it to work. The tie itself is new, today was my first time wearing it, but I have other bow ties and I don’t think this one is all that much better looking then the rest.
- Jacket - Enterprise by Haggar
- Bow tie - Bill Blass
- Shirt - Pierre Cardin
- Belt - Express
- Jeans - Guess
- Boots - Steve Madden
This is a super saver outfit, too. As usual, a mix of TJ Maxx and Marshall’s. The tie was on clearance for $8 and I have no idea why. Great brand, great tie. The jeans were also on clearance for $29. They are an odd fit, low rise and boot cut, and they are quite generous in both waist and inseam to be 32x32. Perhaps that’s why they were on clearance. The jacket was $20. I could barely believe it when I saw it myself. Brand new, unblemished.
Me yesterday. Working my black + grey game.
I used my Webcam as a mirror to look at some new jewelry I got today (coming later.)
But until then, here’s my face.
I wore this a few days ago, but never got around to writing it up. The vest and tie were gifts from Lovely. ^___^
- Argyle sweater vest - Old Navy
- Tie - Little Black Tie
- Striped shirt - Van Heusen
- Pinstriped slacks - Perry Ellis Portfolio
- Saddle shoes - Bass
I was also wearing cool, winter-weight black and white speckle socks by Perry Ellis. Meant to shoot them when I got home but it just didn’t happen. I’m sure to wear this a couple times again before winter is over, Perhaps I’ll re-shoot it.
*EDIT* Also not pictured is another gift, an Express reversible belt, being worn on the white side. ^___^
What did we ever do before the Web cam?
Going to get an energy drink. I’m starting to get a headache.
